Ingredients:
- 1 cup microgreens (any mix, but Heritage Spring Mix (kale, broccoli, arugula, cabbage and kohlrabi) microgreens are ideal for detox)
- 1/2 cup spinach (optional for added greens)
- 1 small cucumber (peeled and chopped)
- 1 green apple (core removed, chopped)
- 1/2 lemon (juiced)
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger (peeled and grated)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (for added fiber)
- 1 cup coconut water (or plain water, for hydration)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
- Add the microgreens, spinach, cucumber, green apple, lemon juice, ginger, chia seeds, and coconut water to a blender.
- Blend on high until smooth.
- Taste and adjust by adding more lemon juice or ginger if desired.
- Pour into a glass, add ice cubes if using, and enjoy immediately.
