Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup microgreens (any mix, but Heritage Spring Mix (kale, broccoli, arugula, cabbage and kohlrabi) microgreens are ideal for detox)
  • 1/2 cup spinach (optional for added greens)
  • 1 small cucumber (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 green apple (core removed, chopped)
  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger (peeled and grated)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (for added fiber)
  • 1 cup coconut water (or plain water, for hydration)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add the microgreens, spinach, cucumber, green apple, lemon juice, ginger, chia seeds, and coconut water to a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust by adding more lemon juice or ginger if desired.
  4. Pour into a glass, add ice cubes if using, and enjoy immediately.
